Esther Maner Hilton

Esther Maner Hilton, affectionally known as Gran Gran, age 91, of Locust Grove passed away at her residence Tuesday November 3, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born Saturday May, 18, 1929 in Rockmart, GA to the late Clem and Maudie Swann Maner. She was a homemaker, excellent seamstress and cook. It has been said that she could cook something just by tasting it once. She was a proud member of Macedonia Baptist Church having joined the Church in July of 1969.

Esther is survived by her daughter and son-in law; Kim & Donnie Dodson, grandchildren; Jena Ray Dodson, Hannah Nicole Dodson, Stephanie Dodson Leonard, Gary & Ana Hilton and Kelly Dickerson. Esther was also the proud Aunt of seven nieces. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford Carlton (C.C.)Hilton, Jr. who passed away in February of 2004, granddaughter; Stacie Elizabeth Kingerski, siblings; Ralph (Jack) Maner, Hoyt Maner.

Funeral services for Esther Maner Hilton (Gran Gran) will be Friday November 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Pastor Joey Seabolt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday November 5, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
